CSG is recognized as Riverbed’s “go-to” partner for the implementation of Riverbed solutions for the A/E/C sector.  We achieved this status by understanding the concept of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the impact it would have on the A/E/C market.  Movement to a BIM workflow caused a change in how we worked with our remote offices and trusted partners.  CSG was, and is, way ahead of everyone by developing solutions to allow for the sharing of an Autodesk Revit model, regardless of the location of your project team.

CSG offers two additional services, unique to CSG, that showcase our expertise and understanding of the industry and how we work together.  In many cases, we’ll see Project Managers with laptops and cell cards out in the field, who dial in to their server over a VPN connection.  CSG has a unique program to allow that user to utilize Riverbed’s Steelhead mobile on that individual laptop and achieve the same optimized connection to the corporate server that an office with a Riverbed Steelhead devices receives.  This service is available on a monthly rental basis, starting at $75 per month, per user license.  The next topic of conversation, when dealing with a centrally stored model, is in regards who is going to store it on their server and provide access to the project team, which often includes Architects and Engineers from multiple companies.  CSG has responded and we expect a Model hosting service to be introduced and available in Q4, 2009.

CSG personnel have years of experience in both the Autodesk and Bentley reseller channels, as well general I.T. solutions.  CSG personnel host monthly webinars on BIM (Revit) Collaboration, CAD/Office Collaboration and Server Consolidation/Virtualization, and Disaster Recovery, .  In 2009, CSG will also participate as a vendor at Autodesk University.
